Our ceramic installations will transform the Studio Force Majeure into an inspiring eye-catcher for three festival days.
Dare to dream! This year’s theme of 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen was a welcome invitation to creative collaboration with designers, architects and manufacturers from all over the world. Rarely have we been so excited about a trade fair. A showcase of over 400 contemporary brands, who were able to present their products and installations to a knowledgeable and design-savvy festival audience in various hotspot locations in the city center.
As in previous years, we deliberately chose a very special and authentic location in the heart of Copenhagen: Studio Force Majeure in the Fellow Palæet district. A stage made for our ceramics.
World premieres and lots of dreams
A wall-high stove concept with a ceramic bench that flows softly and harmoniously into the room in a pastel play of colors. For the first time on a large stage, Sebastian Herkner personally presents his yuma free-form bench in a stylish arrangement with our PAS Mini stove ceramics.
Ceramic seating groups from the faces SOAP series, room dividers and ceramic objects convey a very special aura and draw attention to the next world premiere from Kaufmann: the ACQUA. Wall ceramics by Sebastian Herkner. An organic and handcrafted ceramic tile whose shape alludes to the flow of water and transforms one wall of the studio into a sea of ceramic waves.
In total, over 2,000 tiles were installed in the room and staged by our design team and Studio Herkner on site.
”“I think many creative people started dreaming in this room. With all the abundance of tables, chairs and furniture, our ceramics quickly gave us the image of a bird of paradise. And without exaggerating, it was precisely these unexpected accents that left a lasting impression on the international visitors. We are delighted with the consistently positive feedback from the trade fair.”
